Idea 1: The obstacle column

Divide the board so that each goal sits beside its named obstacle. This bakes mental contrasting into the layout itself [3][4].

Idea 2: Images of effort, not just outcome

Depict yourself mid-action. This aligns with imagery evidence, which concerns rehearsing actions rather than contemplating rewards [5][6].

Idea 3: The if-then strip

A single band across the bottom carrying one if-then plan per goal [2].

Idea 4: A dated horizon

Put a specific date on each goal. Specificity and challenge drive performance [1].

Idea 5: One accountability name

Write the name of the person you will report to weekly [7]. It converts a private artefact into a social commitment.
